could be.  I downloaded a torrent last night around 10pm - it came down at between 150-200KB/s the whole time.  way faster than the normal shaped 5-10KB/s I usually get

Just a question.. So Telecom is infact throttling torrents?
Cause my net speed it fine on Big Time. Exact same speeds as my Adventure plan
Just my Torrent speeds have been extremely low

Telecom throttles the hell out of everything, except youtube, facebook etc.

only for Big Time plan though? Cause my speeds were fine on my other plan

Anyway to bypass torrent throttling? Encrypting doesn't work

I have been having problems with big time recently.
My internet has slowed down so much making using the internet very anoying.
My internet has gone from atleast 5mb/s all the way down to an average of around 1mb/s over night. Its now been like this for a week and I dont know when the speeds will go back to normal.

So then whys my download speed dropped from 5mb/s all the way down to 1mb/s or would that be because telecom is throtling my download speed from speedtest.net?
