dacraka: I think the weekly minutes expire every week though, right? It's not carry-over minutes?
So you can't compare it to monthly plans from other providers if I am correct.
So if I am correct, if you don't use all your weekly minutes within seven days, they expire.
Skinny: Correct me if I am wrong.

If you're on the weekly plan, that's correct.

As for other people replying.  I'd rather 500MB-1GB/ of data a month to spend when I want, rather than a small handout every week that gets taken away if you don't use it.  Same can be said with call time.

I was on skinny for a year, and told a lot of friends to join.  Eventually it became too much of a compromise between data and minutes on all plans.  If I were them I'd have a 29-39 dollar a month plan that gives you 1GB data and 300 minutes + unlimited text.

Or at least offer a paid add on to weekly combos that lets you have your data and minutes roll over week to week.

Can't you just buy 2 x $16 packs?

that would get you 1GB, unlimited sms, and  180 rollover minutes for $32 per month.  You could even phase them so you get a new pack every 2 weeks, meaning more time to use up the data.

You'd have to interact with your plan twice a month, to deactivate the combo, then reactivate (losing your roll over minutes).
