Aquarius: Bit gutted really, lets run through this again:
- Out to order 2 x iPhone 6+ Gold 128GB (Wife and I).
- Understood a pre-order as a way of being one of the first (hell yeah - I'm keen as and willing to show my interest now! , RIGHT HERE!, YUUUUP!). Order complete at 12:30am.
- Couldn't do Amex due to some Spark hurdle when ordering so placed 2 single orders for the $39 Open Plan, Full Payment on first bill (Wife and Son are on $39 Open anyway so no drama).
- Got email confirmations for both orders (Yay - Wife will be over the moon, she may even get a little frisky! ).
- Transferred the cash to cover the purchase of both phones to our Spark account (give lesson to Son about paying for things outright and avoiding debt).
- Then Spark email about restricting pre orders, trying to push us into 24 months interest free otherwise won't be in place for a pre-order (what the hell?).
- I ask if they could please credit the money we'd paid for both phones and we would order elsewhere (from 2 phones to 0 phones = no frisky Wife).
- Spark email saying they can do 1 phone (less than ideal but thinking of Frisky Wife).
- I advised Spark that we wished for both phones but if they can only provide 1 phone then do so and please credit the other so we can order elsewhere.
- Spark then email saying they're taking second orders so they will order our second phone (sounded to me like their chance to avoid issuing a credit).
- Spark emailed the emails containing the text: "If your pre-order is completed by 24 September we will dispatch your iPhone so it arrives as close to launch (26 September) as possible" (I did, so I'm thinking, frisky Wife on launch day).
- I email the world saying I LOVE Spark again after a LOVE, HATE battle to spend just shy of $3,000 with them.
- Launch day comes and no sign of any phone (Dam My Eyes !! - I stayed up after midnight for a pre-order for nothing = no frisky Wife, instead a freaky Wife loading me up with chores).
- Becomes obvious there was no benefit in pre-ordering as no phone on launch day yet people are walking out of physical stores with them.
- Spark email about a fast boat and I'm hearing people may have been told they are getting theirs "the week after next" (nothing fast about that).
- I'm now wondering if there is any profit in an iPhone sale (let's say 10%), I should cancel my order with Spark and give the business (up to $289) to the new iPhone player - 2Degrees, I'm sure they'd love to add another 2 phones to their sales count.
dickytim: I have been dealing with a very helpful CSR from the business division.
She told me that she had heard the next shipment will be in on Monday.
If that is the case them the 3 days from launch is still viable, i.e. business days.
Hope cautiously restored.

dejadeadnz: My phone arrived on Monday and I ordered late Saturday evening/early Sunday morning (IP6, 64 Gb silver).
Quite happy with Spark so far. Now if only their damn portability helpdesk people will actually answer my call :P
