yitz: Your IP address 222.154.134.* tells me you are still on a FIPD connection.
You need to migrated from FIPD onto another type of connection called BBA which can take a week or two depending on your billing cycle.
FIPD can only support standard ADSL2+ broadband.
BBA supports both standard ADSL2+ and their new "Ultra" broadband.

My ip adress changed to 122.57.209.110 does this mean my connection changed to bba ?

Kirdog: Wow thats strange, seems Telecom capping sync speeds, i can get at least 16 Mbps with my Attenuation and Distance. But getting only 12-13 -_-

Telecom don't cap sync stats, and have no ability to since they don't own any of the equipment.

What is very clear from your bitloading graph, backed up by your claims of your distance from the cabinet is that your internal wiring is obviously seriously impacting your connection.

The master splitter will fix it though michaelmurfy Pikachu said. Im very great full for 9.0 Mb down considering i used a 2 Mb to 3 Mb connection since 2008 and from 1995 to 2008 i used 56 k dial up.

Maybe its wrong place to ask but, does Telecom have ability to switch ADSL2+ connections to Annex M, i'm pretty much sure that DSLAMs support this type of connection! Need higher upload speed...

Telecom (along with ever other ISP that uses wholesale connections) has no ability to use Annex M as it's not enabled on any Chorus ISAMs.

Because Annex M isn't offered by Chorus.

If you're asking why Chorus aren't spending money on Annex M in the context of VDSL and Fibre rollouts, then you'd need to ask Chorus. If I had to guess, I'd say they have figured out the tiny fraction of people that would want it don't justify the investment.

I can see that around 60% of Auckland covered by VDSL. But other 40% cant get it.

There is no upgrades for Annex-M needed i think, because this technology was introduced and included in ADSL2 and ADSL2+. DSLAM have settings for each connection: like interleaving, modulation and etc, this settings can be changed remotely in 5 min. I have old cheapest router somewhere, it's support annex M.

I think it is all locked on marketing level, and upload speed capping politics....

Not true. There's a cost. It may not be a cost in going to install a new card in each DSLAM that they may want to provision from, but there are costs in (at least) developing and offering the option.

It is NOT anything to do with your made up "upload speed capping politics"...

But it isn't just a magic checkbox that makes things better. Annex M uses a different frequency than Annex A, which means there should be a testing and certification process to ensure it doesn't lead to crosstalk or other issues with negative impacts on other customers etc. It took Internode in Aus the better part of 2 years to go from planning to approval stages to deploy Annex M. The time and cost to do so for a mere handful of customers who want the upstream speed, at the probable cost of downstream, and who don't have an alternative option available, would be minimal I would expect. That said, I believe at least one of the ISPs around (Slingshot maybe?) do offer Annex M if you are connected to their cabinetised equipment.
