Are you asking a question?

You're clearly not on ADSL if that's your sync speed, it's obviously an ADSL2+ connection.

I wanted to get an update on the install date for my VDSL2 and i got connected to the guy i talked to last week.He said im still being migrated to adsl2 ? I said im getting a download speed of 9 Mbs down and i said adsl1 can nly go up to 8 Mb download.... he replied by saying no. I researched on the net adsl1 goes at max 8 Mbits down..... Im getting 9 Mbs down and sync rate of 10 Mbs so obviously my connection has changed.

Why does this guy not give me an answer i talked to 2 telecom guys on the forum and they said im ready to get changed to VDSL2 and im on Adsl2 profile. Why will this guy not give me a simple answer all i wanted was a date and he is trying to say im still on adsl1 yet i have had other ppl from telecom like Pika Pika check and they have said im on adsl2. This guy isn't very nice to talk to either he sounds like he hates his job has no enthusiasm and doesn't seem to want to help his customers out.

I just find it a bit odd he says im on adsl1 hello so am i just special and the only one in the world who gets a megabit nearly 2 mbits higher than adsl1 can go ? I must be special. I get the feeling that they guy just doesn't feel like helping out ? Im gonna stick to getting help from michaelmurfy on this forum because he tells me the truth and doesn't lie when i ask a question he doesn't mess me around.

But honestly i just want my date so i know when to stay home when they do the install.

Probably you are too far from cabinet/Exchange.

I think there is not possible to get stats (Line attenuation, SNR, and etc) on this router X2000. I will double check now.

Sorry about my English guys :>

My cabinet for our street is only like 5 or 6 houses from my house. ANd it's vdsl2 area im right in it i have been confirmed i have my technicolor router i just want a date. I have had 2 telecom check everything out for me it's all go... i just want to know why this guy has to lie ? does he not feel like doing his job ?

Wow thats strange, seems Telecom capping sync speeds, i can get at least 16 Mbps with my Attenuation and Distance. But getting only 12-13 -_-

Everybody LIES at this world, don't worry its normal :D. Probably he is not familiar with this technologies at all, probably he is a student or a "junior"or even manager! I have found there are alot of this guys sitting in Telecom's helpdesk.

Last year i called 2 times to solve problems with my static IP, they said: "just reboot your router 3 times and check is an ADSL filter installed". xD

Hmmm, one more thing: I have found some posts about x2000 sync problems. Do you have another router to check the sync?

I think he can,t because x2000 don't have ADSL driver page for some reason.

AppleJackXD! try this link: http://192.168.1.1/setup.cgi?next_file=adsl_driver.htm

And also check for the software update for your router.
