Hi all,

I have a user that has issues opening attachments using the Xtramail/Yahoo Webmail page.

Every time they open the first attachment for that browser session, IE10 reports that content is blocked due to security certificate errors.
You can click allow, but the page refreshes and you have to dig through your emails again to re-open the attachment. It opens on the second attempt.
This happens on more than one machine with IE (the user prefers to use IE)

I have checked the date/time, cleared SSL state but the same result.

I don't have an xtra account but I am curious to know if this happens for anyone else that uses IE & Xtramail webportal?

Cheers,

Matt

Seen this a few times the past couple of weeks. The following seems to cure it for us:

1) Ensure their shortcut is http://mail.yahoo.co.nz or http://webmail.xtra.co.nz
2) When logged into Yahoo go into options (the cog in the top right of the Yahoo page) / Mail Options / General and towards the bottom there is a SSL setting – turn that on.

Hope this helps.
