Hi, with Tmobile US, they have introduced a new change where speed tests and spotify(along with other streaming services) don't count towards your data usage and I see on the Ultra Plan Spotify is free, so why can't Spark have it not count towards your data usage?
Because T-Mobiles growth this year alone, is more than Sparks or Vodafones entire subscription base? Economically T-Mobile has a much larger customer base. This sort of offer has the potential to put much more load on a networks cell towers. Spotify probably dont have any CDN's in NZ, so probably a large increase in international data as well.
Spark already offers you a Spotify premium subscription for free, LTE at no additional charge, and 1gb/day of free wifi access. If they're going to offer more, id rather have an increase in my data allowance so I can use it on what i want, than unmetered Spotify.
