Hi
Anyone know of any broadband outage in the above area, starting from 7.30 p.m. last night onwards?
Tried their help desk, on-line chat (tried from my work internet), phone calls etc. yet, can't make any sense out of them, except having to listen to their playing music while I am waiting!
Very frustrating!
While broadband was working before, speed test results were:
24th Aug Evening 7. p.m.- Ping= 680mSec; Down load= 0.23Mbps;  25th evening 7.00 p.m. - Ping =555 mSec; Download= 0.7 Mbps; Upload= 0.41 Mbps 26th evening 7.00 p.m.- Ping = 399 m Sec; Download = 0.68 Mbps; Upload = 0.41 Mbps

Does anyone else in the country, get such a rough deal from SPARK?
My rig:
Brand new ADSL modem/router from SPARK, dedicated jack point, new Cat6 cable to entry point where a master filter installed, old aerial lead-in cable replaced with underground new cable installed by Chorus a week ago.
(When I took my computer & modem to my friend's place in AKL city to test (on ADSL connection), download speed was 17Mbps)

If you can answer the questions in Peter Reader's post, people here will have a much higher chance of being able to help you. "Awhitu Peninsular" is a huge area - can you be more specific for a start?
