hey ALL

I have been having these random slow downs on random times of the day about once a week.

My download speed stays at 1mbps while the norm is around 12-13mbps. https://www.speedtest.net/my-result/5194314650

I tried chasing bigpipe support but they have been doing line tests.

Somtimes they say the line test is fine and sometimes they have said there is a "possible fault" with the line.

The thing is the line usually becomes normal in the morning because there is a pattern of the line slow down of about 24hours at a time.

There is no LOAD on the line whatsoever. my pc is the only device connected through ethernet. Nothing in the background hogging the bandwidth at all.

Upstream saturation is not the problem here - it's a physical wiring issue. Your downstream sync rate is consistent with the throughput you are getting.

Start with an isolation test (where's @PeterReader when you need him?). Unplug all other phone devices, check your phone cables etc.

EDIT: I should add that the sync rate is dreadful for that attenuation, it should be much higher. I'd be looking for loose or corroded joins or plugs given this is intermittent.
