Speed test results:

Sparks test site:

28.97 down

41.58 up

Isn't that backwards?

Wireless has a finite bandwidth, which is why that you may be in range but its not available. Given this, it would appear not to be abnormal if in the popular times, after tea, that download rates compared to the towers capacity is being well used for download, and less used for upload. As stated above, as long as its better then the DSL that you had, its a winner.

pctek:

A)Price drops to same or less than adsl(without any lesser speed plans)

b)I stop hearing about bad installs.

Fibre 30 will beat the pants off ADSL any day of the week.

I think you're being rather pigheaded without any basis on fact in regards to speeds and the bad installs.

If I had to choose between copper, fibre and wireless broadband I would choose fibre every time. Then a fixed service over wireless. Wireless broadband is only designed for low end users.
Mistakes will happen with fibre but I have yet to find anyone who after it's installed would ever go back.
