Today I decided I would test out my new phone (Huawei mate 10 pro) by performing some speed tests on the spark network. On my first test I got 220mbps download. About 2 hours passed and I checked how much data I had left. That test used (according to my phone) 200mb of my data which when I checked I had only used 20mb which this was from me using other apps. I then ran alot more speed tests using 1.8gb of data but this did not deduct from the data allowance so I wonder if speed testing to the spark server on ookla speed test is an unmetered connection?

Update : We’ve been trialing zero-rating of the Spark speedtest servers. This may change at any time.

Note this only applies to the Spark servers. So the OP’s experience is as expected (currently).
