what speed does Telecom cap you at when you run out of gigs?

tdgeek: 64k upstream and downstream. It is quoted as reduced to dialup, that is to make it understandable by the masses.
tdgeek: Just change plan online to the next one up, you can change that back next calendar month to minimise the extra plan cost. $10 or $20 extra, thats for a month, if you changed back in 2 weeks, just half that extra cost.

Lykho: additionally, it would make more sense to temporarily change to a cheaper plan (since I'd only need a few days worth of bandwidth), which on the whole would be a saving.
shame they don't just have some simple 'top up' system like for cellphones.
