Thought it deserved a separate thank you thread.

Thanks very much to michaelmurfy and the other telecom people who have been watching the VDSL thread like hawks and responding to the eleventy billion questions and requests from people.

Really made a difference for me - particularly around confirming tech was coming etc.

I agree, and thanks for starting the thanks thread.

Michael was most helpful for me (even though it turns out Chorus won't install for me - attenuation too high).

There's 8 pages of PM's hah, guess that shows dedication, must be a couple of pages from the other guys too.

Add my thanks and appreciation to the list :)

I hope Telecom (corporate) had an eye on that thread as I can guarantee you guys won them some new customers.

Have to say I agree with having a dedicated thank you thread the guys who jump these boards and give their time up for us certainly deserve it. Thanks for all your hard work and help.

Shame it seems no vdsl for me here in Levin but can't always get everything my way (sadly) lol. :-)

A big thanks to Michael and Simon for their help on the VDSL topic from me also. Well done guys, you're both assets to the Telecom team (especially the rest of the Telecom team here at Geekzone! (Peter, Neil etc.))

I'm also really happy to hear so many happy customers either current or new to Telecom customers. Full credit to Michael, Neil (Jane for short) and other fellow Telecom staff for taking the time from their busy jobs to help customers as they all have been all over the thread. I haven't been able to dedicate as much time as I typically would have but I knew things were in safe hands with Michael et al.

Such is the irony of my life that I can't get vdsl (1.8km from exchange with attenuation of 25db with master filter) or ufb (not until 2018 I think) and I am building the backend subscriber management stack for it.

But I take a lot of job satisfaction from threads like these. :)

Ditto Thanks. I can't get VDSL or UFB either (•UFB deployment dates for your area are still being developed) but you guys answering others questions at least lets me know why and what to expect if/when it does arrive
