I've just received the same crappy message from three of my clients - none of whom know each other. 

Originating IP addresses from Georgia (Ex USSR on USA southern state). Have contacted their ISP who are looking into it.

Brace yourself, there is spam heading your way.

I thought they now locked the email account if not access from NZ ip now?

it seems to lock if you do a pop from a non aus-nz yahoo server atleast


if not they should have a option to say limit it to NZ ips only on the web client


I guess it might be hacked if using weak passwords.. but you never know if the people
have one of the newer trojans that logs keys strokes.. like these ramsomeware out there now
and virus scanners let them through since new variants
