Maybe others would like to post their Skinny Speedtest results?

RunningMan: Sure that's not a Telecom WiFi connection (with ADSL backhaul)?
Big difference between up and downstream connection.
GZMCC. Lenovo Yoga C640. 8 gb Ram and 256Gb SSD, Cam Am Spyder 2016 F3 LTD. GoPro 5 Black, Samsung S22 Ultra, Huawei Watch D. Samsung S6 Lite Tablet, Amateur Radio Callsign ZL1CJH
Behodar: 2.40/0.56/98 ms, Whakatane, iPhone 4S, just now. A far cry from your result!
But this is the first time ive had a result like that, I normally get 3 or 8 down but im not always in dual carrier area
sbiddle: Downstream may be fine but upstream is very slow!
Yeah why is that? Does telecom have a speed cap on upload?

sbiddle:
You can see from the phone it's on 3G - obviously to get this speed it'll be on a dual carrier site.
Telecom still has very slow upload speeds on their 3G compared to Vodafone, even on uncongested sites it's rare to see much more than 1 - 1.5Mbps whereas you'll typically see well over double that on Vodafone and 2degrees.
psychrn: Just did a couple of tests myself. Around 0020 am. Inside house
Im in Hamilton on Skinny.
1st one Hamilton Server ?? The cloud D/L 2.83 UL 1.08 Ping 66
2nd Telecom -Auckland Ping 66ms D/L 6.05Mbps U/L 1.50 Mbps
eXDee: This isn't surprising from an uncongested site - but what is surprising is a mall not having much traffic at 1pm.
Skinny isn't going to be any faster or slower than Telecoms 3G all other conditions being equal. Slow speeds on skinny are down to telecom's network being congested.
Yup although it is not a big mall,
Also you guys check if you were in a dual carrier area: http://www.telecom.co.nz/mobile/mobile/ournetwork/mobilecoveragemaps/
