edit: actually that sounded mean. I should be asking if this affected any nz users of the yahoo website, and do we know what kind of malware it was infected with?

I understand you might have posted this in the Telecom forum because of the number of Xtra Mail users, but reality is there are a lot of people using Yahoo! that aren't there because of Telecom's email service.

Posting here instead of Desktop Computing sounded like a stab at Telecom more than actually reporting something happening.

YMMV.

I 100% agree with you there, its not a telecom issue, but this sub forum is for to Yahoo!Xtra issues. I mean its got it in the title so its probably the best subforum to post it in. Do we know if the xtra.co.nz version of the portal was affected?
