Hi team,


I got new VDSL installed at my home yesterday . worked all ok after installation and till today morning

Come back from home at 5 and no connection what so ever ( no green light on the black spark modem )

I have made few phone calls but no help yet - the team said they ll try but seems network engineer has to close a request

They told me it will get fixed in a hour 2 -hrs back but internet not fixed yet

Can anyone here on telecom help out ?

when you long into the modem (which one is it?) what do you see under the status? what is connected? DSL, PPPoE?

what lights are on on the front of the modem?

we need more info to be able to start to help

It's a brand new black color spark provided modem ( huawai I think )


Lights which are on are - power, DSL and WiFi


DSL is solid green . WiFi blinks .

Internet one is switched off ( no lights on internet )

I m running internet on a borrowed mobile internet so I cannot disect the situation more .

Can anyone look into this - by the looks of things I believe its some minor fault as it was perfect till this morning

you should be able to look at the modem and find the model number of it

also can you login to it to find out more on whats actually happening?

its a " home gateway ", model : HG630b,

automatic login page tells me to troubleshoot by power on off, reset, have tried it with call center - no internet so far

what does the status page say about the connection when you login to the modem?
