This is usually an automated process as many different worksheets queue the next one in succession generally.
Once chorus have configured their end it will all queue off automatically unless bigpipe have a manual system!
Generally its on Chorus to have their end confirmed before anything will work, The ISP's usually had their end configured well before the connection occurred. The amount of people i told to just wait cause the chorus tech hadnt signed the job off yet was a lot. Thats how it was for xDSL anyway.

The chorus guys here said - Big Pipe can be a bit different to the likes of Spark who its a bit easier to arrange switch over the same day - but they didn't elaborate much.

@Coil hit the nail on the head with 100% accuracy.

We provision everything on our end for both UFB and xDSL when we get the required info from the line wholesaler, so that after you've been hooked up when your router tries to establish a PPP session it'll be allowed out to the internet.

You have an email @rphenix.

Interesting. When I had mine connected (not with Bigpipe - they didn't have service here until recently) Chorus turned up, hooked up the ONT, lights came on, and all was well - ISP didn't have to do a thing.
