My phone didn't ring and I got a text for a new voice mail. I was using the phone at the time, browsing, any ideas why I didn't see the call?

Yes, they dont have call waiting.  Its been a long standing issue with Skinny, and the main reason I am not on it!

Edit: I see you werent on a call, but browsing.  If the cellphone cant be "found" then the person dialling gets sent to vociemail

Skinny does have call waiting its just disabled by default and requires a call to call center to be enabled on request

Can't you just enable it using the call settings or GSM generic code?

100% of incoming calls don't connect so expect the odd incoming call to reach VM it is perfectly normal

If your Device has the setting to enable Call waiting then you can do it on the phone and have it enabled.
Calling the CallCenter is really only for phones that cant enable Call Waiting on its own or for people who don't know how to search for the setting themselves.

The oldest phones I can remember from 1996 supported this feature in the menu even the Phillips Savvy

Just happened again. Was not in a call. What do you mean can't be found?

If you are using data on 4g it will have to shift down to 3g to get a call thru. Sometimes that doesnt happen in time and they go to voicemail. That is why all the networks need to hurry the F up with volte support.

Even outgoing calls will often fail because it doesnt get onto 3g in time I find sometimes.

It happens sometimes...life goes on.

Lazy is such an ugly word, I prefer to call it selective participation
