I've read on a few other forum posts about bigpipe being dissolved if I'm reading them right and moving back under spark?

What is really going on and what does that mean for bigpipe customers?  Should I switch to Spark to get a deal (i.e. credit/netflix etc) in anticipation before they do this?

All that is happening is bigpipe (and thus, also skinny) moving to sparks network rather than their own.

for all intensive purposes you will still be bigpipe.

from a helpdesk point of view, everything is separate (so you still get the same support folk on the email).

What it means is, IPv6 is going away. It will return at some stage but there is no date set on that.

CGNat will go away.

Likely speeds will be ever so slightly faster
