Just wondering if anyone else is seeing a problem with International traffic on Spark Fibre at the moment?

Tracerouting to Google.com seems to be very nasty numbers and looks to potentially be taking a long way round?

Considering you are getting 140ms to ggi, i would say your issue is alot closer to home.

Please test on ethernet rather than wireless too.

Yeah I have high latency on my fibre connection (lower hutt) all morning.

In speedtest I get the full 100Mb but the ping to wellington servers is 100ms+

playing overwatch on aussie servers is normally 50ms but this morning its 200ms

Something isn't right as its normally really reliable

Sorry - attached traceroute from wrong machine. Was also tested from Ethernet with similar results apart from the local part.

I've now re-restarted both the ONT & modem and results are still bad:

I also tried doing the same with a NZ based server (or at least I think its NZ based) and got the following which seems to imply that my connection itself isn't the issue? (or maybe it doesn't say that :) )

Possibly also worth pointing out that I did a Speedtest to CityLink (Wellington) and got d/l of 48.49, upload of 5, and a ping of 111ms which seems kind of high so looks like its more than just international then...

Thanks - that's all that can be asked is to get people looking into it. That is quite often the first battle :D

[edit] Pretty sure we can see what's happened and having a look at options to resolve quickly.
