Morning all,

Has anyone see any information from Spark about when eSIM will be supported on business accounts? Someone was looking into it for me at work, but found out that we can't migrate our work SIMs to eSIM yet as they're part of a large company account.

Lot of conflicting messages at the moment. Spark doesn't have any info on the restrictions business accounts seem to be hitting, or at least not that I can find. Also people posting in the other thread that their business account managers were able to move their work account onto the eSIM.

Would be nice if Spark could put up an FAQ on eSIM, putting all the restrictions and any news out in the sunlight

Technically speaking, the same way standard services are loaded works for many of the business plans.

However, there are a few hurdles with this, which is why it's not officially supported.

Internal teams do have all the information they need, and there are very helpful folk they can reach out to go over on it.

I'm not sure how beneficial putting out the restrictions would be, as the support is being iteratively built.

I'll speak to the folk that look after it though.

Appreciate the quick response Hio, and understand that it can be hard to be transparent / clear about the developing processes. Just be nice to have something official to regularly check up on, especially when there are conflicting messages.

Hope it gets fully launched soon, I really don't want to go back to carrying two phones xD

G'day mate, was wondering if you've heard anything further on the Business Account end? I'm eyeing up all the launch specials for the 11 thinking if I'm going to end up buying one it'd be mint to get more for my money, but don't want to drop the money until I can make the full swap over.

My last update from our companies Spark Customer lead was on 23rd of September, he said the roll out for business customers had been delayed, and there is no ready for service date.

Particularly frustrating when you walk into a store and ask to change a SIM to an eSIM and they say "of course no problem" look it up on their system and then say "oh, no your a business customer, we can't do that, and we don't know when we'll be able to"

Can the eSIM move over to be done without going into store?

Spark Business customers most definitely can go on eSIM. I have 6 connections within our organisation on eSIM, and mine has been eSIM for months. Just ask your Spark Account Manager nicely.
