Hi all, I apologise if this is something commonly discussed here. I have a 4g Broadband router on Skinny in a house in Rotorua and I've had non stop issues trying to get certain services working on it. For example Netgear Arlo cameras didn't work last time I tried (6 months ago) apparently due to CGNAT? I was trying to get Google wifi devices setup down there over the weekend and for the life of me they weren't connecting or setting up. I've setup a lot of these and never had these type of problems. I'm close to shutting it down and getting a fibre connection in there.

I assume it's all about no ability to have a static ip or dynamic IP hence some stuff can't find the route back

Skinny WBB Doesnt offer a static ip. you will have to move to Spark Wireless for that, Alternatively yes Fibre is a great option.

there is no reason a google wifi shouldn't work, alro might be looking to have a port though..

CGNAT is used by many providers, particularly on mobile networks.
