Looking at upgrading (or modernizing) so curious what the latest modem is that Skinny are supplying for their 4G broadband?

Ive got a Huawei B618 currently.

On their site they have instructions for the Huawei HG659.

But on Trademe I see people selling the Huawei B315s-608.

What is the current model?

They call it the Flexi Modem but its the same as the Spark Smart Modem 2 which I use under Portable Broadband as my backup connection with Spark.

https://www.skinny.co.nz/broadband/flexi-modem/

https://www.spark.co.nz/shop/internet/spark-smart-modem/

Much nicer device than the B618's. Those are horrible and locked down.

Cheers

Thanks J, I'll track one down. I saw that on the website but thought it was for their Fibre/DSL plans, I see now on the specs it mentions LTE.

Does both - Great 4G performance as a backup. Using it for auto-wan failover and its awesome!. Its a bit big but overall a great device. There is also a 5G version.
