Couldn't find my vodafone - so i called it from my telecom prepay, forgetting i only had 5c credit. call went through. called *333 and they're  "making changes to their systems". Is it possible to get a prepay account into debt?

I don't think so, unless you use that 'SHOUT' thing on voda... I have been cut off before mid phone call (Telecom) cos I ran out of credit (and got the $15 call refunded cos they cut a deal short and didn't tell me!)

Did you actually answer the other phone? As far as I'm aware, you won't be charged if the call doesn't connect.

But you should get an automated message telling you that you have insufficient funds, rather than allowing the phone to even ring out.

Indeed that should happen, but you never know if *333 is down :)
