Hi there,

Our company has its own dedicated IMAP mail server and we use Apple.

We are looking at using the new iPhone 3G S (when it arrives) on the XT Network and we will need the ability to configure Apple Mail on the iPhone to access our IMAP server.

I understand that the above is no issue for the iPhone, but I'm not sure if the XT Network supports IMAP which is why I'm posting here and not in the iPhone forum.

Does anybody have any experience using an IMAP email account on the XT Network? If so, what would need to be entered as the Outgoing Mail Server?

I've trawled through endless web pages and forums and can't find anything..

Appreciate any advice.

Cheers

As above, it will work fine (and as John says, its pretty unrelated to the network anway). But just to reassure you - I use IMAP on my iPhone through the XT network all the time.
