Does bt and p2p download on big time faster than go large?
i mean on peak time,
normally i got download more than 100kb/s on go large with bit and p2p.

10000KB/s translates to roughly 1.2 Megabytes/s, which does sound a bit too good to get on an all-you-can-eat plan on Telecom, especially considering they do P2P throttling.

I would not consider l43a2's answer as valid.

I would love to be proven wrong on this one, though.

So he was actually meaning 9.7MB/s. So like, 2xMP3s a second :D

And yeah.. what he said ^^. No lie. Hes trusted and all!. (and I've experienced first hand)

My bad. Got confused on the uppercase there. Thought it was a typo, from the way he wrote.

But 9.7MB/s on ADSL2? Surely you got that wrong.

A friend i was just chatting to said shes getting 900k+ on torrents since switching to Telecoms new plan whereas on Xnet she was lucky to hit 100-200k I think.

I get (rarely, to be honest) 1 MB/s down on certain torrent trackers using Orcon, so xpd's claim is good. But from 900KB/s to 9MB/s is a bit too much of a difference.

And we all know how Xnet was being slammed.

Just to clarify, some applications will perform better will less constrained uplink speeds. Remember Go Large is constrained to 128Kbps uploading.

Hahah this is true. To clarify.. my ^^s were referring to the 2 Neils. Tend to know their shiz in this department. I've not experienced that speed. Just varying rates given they appear to both use the same BW pooling.
