Not sure if this needs its own thread or should go in with the current discussion of the new plan, but does their new offer mean that Telecom will now officially support the iPhone in terms of carrier settings and help in setting it up/using it on their network?

Or does it mean that offering a specific plan is the "best" they can do as they won't be selling it?

Or does it mean that they are trying to poach people and drum up interest in anticipation of soon officially selling the handsets?

It means Telecom asks customers to visit Geekzone and the iPhone Carrier Settings for Telecom NZ here.
