As per this thread, has anyone managed to get a copy of the updated firmware that works with XT?

Yes, could use the workaround, No I won't do so with user laptops in the field....

I have upgraded the connection manager to the one released this month and it finds telecom but it has the wrong apn by default (it's internet.telecom.nz.co) for some strange reason.

Manually creating a new profile still doesn't help, there is new firmware realeased this month which I will upgrade to tonight and try, the new firmware and connection manager is here

I've installed both the drivers and the 3.0 Connection Manager.

You get the Telecom NZ logo in the new connection manager, but it still doesn't work. The mis-spelling of the APN is hilarious- do people do any QA testing anymore?

I've tried copying the Profile and creating a new one with an APN of either direct.telecom.co.nz or internet.telecom.co.nz, but neither will connect.

Bugger. I'll see what contacts we have with HP to try and resolve this. Fingers crossed.

Yep I get the same, won't connect even if you create a new profile with the correct APN name, surely there must be someone at HP in NZ who was asked to test this?

I have an HP EliteBook 2530p with the HP un2400 module. I am also trying to connect it to the XT network. So far no luck.

Have upgraded the HP Connection Manager to 3.0.0.184, the HP Wireless Assistant to 3.50.9.1, and tried upgrading the drivers - those are still at Version 6.0.3.4 released 12/03/2008 by Qualcomm Incorporated.

Has anyone had any further luck getting an HP un2400 connected to XT?

Got it working... Had to stop using the HP Connection Manager.

Use the "dial up" connection for it, and give it the right AT commands (found in the other thread)
