Hi people wondering out there if anyone knows how to unlock a Samsung M510 as i have entered the pin i gave it and it still wont unlock...have google searched high and low have yet to find a solution, have only just purchased ph and its a bit of a bummer i cant use it...any information on how to unlock my ph will be greatly appreciated. ThanksFrown

Pin defaults are usually 0000, 1234, 9999 or the last four numbers of your phone #.

You can also access a settings menu via ##3282# on this model to retrieve the pin if I remember right but don't quote me on that.

Unless you are looking for a network unlock code, in that case ask Telecom nicely or pay for one online.

hey thanks for that mate very much appreciated, its looking like that we will need to pay for some sort of code to have it unlocked, have tried everything there is so far.

actually did try taking into the telecom retail store and they couldnt really help me there....

Head into a Telecom store and it can be sent away to be unlocked, $30 from last memory.

Before you do, try the last 4 digits of your mobile number which is the default.

yeah but if you can get into it and with most samsungs you can you just re-program it with a different number and that changes ur code. . i cant give you the reprograming codes...

It doesn't matter if you have the programming codes... Samsungs don't let you enter the last required digit to get into the programming if it's locked, even the hard reset code can't be entered.

As mentioned before it looks like $30 and a trip to a Telecom store
