Vodafone does not lock their devices. But this will be only good for 2100 MHz on Telecom XT, which means almost no coverage. Get an actual 850/2100 MHz instead from Telecom or parallel.

AFAIK the VF $99 prepaid device is a 3.6 device, where as the Telecom MF636 is 7.2 (and so if the $199 device VF offer). If you want to take advantage of the speed on offer, go for a 7.2 device.
