OK. Well, I was on the Telecom Go Large Plan for a while and my speeds were great. Now that i'm on the Big Time plan, my speeds vary no matter what time of day it is and can end up worse than dial. It's got a lot better lately but there's still a couple things bothering me.
1. I have a lot of backups uploaded to rapidshare. These include my music, pictures etc. Yes these are all mine and no they aren't pirated :-P. On Go large I used to download with Internet Download Manager (IDM) and get speeds between 400-800kb/s (premium rapidshare account btw). Now that i'm on the Big Time plan I get a max download of 200kb/s using the same download manager. It doesn't matter whether I download between 2am and 9am or from 9am to 2am. the speeds always ranges from 30-200kb/s. My friend is on a different plan and has a cap. He can download at my old speeds ie between 400-800kb/s from rapidshare or any other file hosting sites at any time of the day. Any explanation on this would be greatly appreciated.
2. I play on an online gaming site called Pogo.com. They are a java based gaming site and when i was on the Go Large plan I had no problems at all. Now that i'm on the Big Time plan i cannot play during the day ie 9am to 2am which is Telecoms managing times I believe. When I try and play a game during those times, I get a message from Pogo saying "Lost Connection To Server" (screenshot of this error provided below). I can however play during 2am-9am with no problems. I really don't want to play during these times as its far too late IMO.
I talked to both the Pogo.com support staff and Telecom helpdesk and never got a solution to it. They were both blaming eachother for the error.
Can anyone think of any reasons why I can play during the times of 2am-9am and not during 9am-2am. Seems very odd to me. Also is there anything I can ask Telecom to change that may help me with this problem and who to ask to talk to to find a solution

btw I have interleaving turned off
Cheers
