hi all,
just got my 5600, my win98se is trying to install the usb cable to itself and it keeps asking for the usb software..... which wasnt supplied in the first place. anyone else who has this problem ? anyone managed to resolve this problem (apart from upgrade O/S)?

you dont need software if all u wanna do is copy mp3's to sd card. Open phone and make sure it has good battery life. Then plug cable in and on screen it should give u option of selecting mass storage. this puts it into sync mode. have fun

If I remember correctly, older versions of Windows sometimes do not have the mass storage drivers. Windows 2000 and XP have them, but I remember going through hell on 98 first edition and had a similar experience on 98se.
