Telecom's releasing the Nokia 6235 tomorrow - does anyone know anything about it? I hear it has Picture and Video Messaging with a retail of $299 - hot!

Its got a similar UI by the look of it to the 6255 (three softkeys instead of two). Nice size. Effectivily a 6255 in the body of a 6225, but no bluetooth/mp3/mmc.

Its nice to see this come out at a realistic entry price. It might just be the first 027 ever to launch at an -appropriate- price to start with, instead of higher price, then a drop a month later.

Sanyo 8200/7400, Nokia 6255 are all dropping in price on Sunday... (by $100).

Chunky little navigation key in the middle, reminds me a bit of that annoying SonyEricsson one... big deal do you think? "Navigation around the WAP menu was let down by the fiddly joystick"

its a directional pad with a center button rather than a joystick (i think), so shouldnt be a problem, although i find the center button on the 6255 to be a pain due to my big hands / fingers, so this will be the same i guess. No problem if you are little i suppose.

Well I'm little but I'm also spastic, which makes it difficult lol.. As long as the center button doesn't MOVE, it should be okay, but by the sounds of the quote from the Telecom Informer above, it might... All shall be revealed tomorrow ;)

sorry team. forgot we were waiting on this one.

Its a VERY nice phone. It looks very smart and very professional. (some would say "it looks like a Vodafone"). The center key -IS- a joystick unfortunately, but i had no major trouble using it - it was concise with good feedback, and not too hard or too easy to move.

Only had a 5 minute play, so didnt put it through its paces, but it looks to be worth every penny of its low $299 price tag.

Seems to be one of the best value-for-money phones around.

Gotta fly!! byeee

I had a play with the 6235 today and didn't like it at all.. maybe it's just my spastic fingers, I dunno, but I found the joystick really annoying.. So much so that within 30 seconds, I'd decided I could never use a phone like that, and gave it back to the guy in the store. Felt kinda cheap, too. Meh, just my 2c.
