Is it just me or is the phone ringer volume rather low? I have set the volume control to full but it still seems low - is there anywhere else to increase this?

Haven't noticed this. I find the default ringtone quite loud. You can copy your own ringtones after editing them to make the volume even higher.

yeah that was my next option, I'm using an .mp3 tone so I might just run mp3gain over it. Cheers. Oh one other thing - is there a screen protecter that its the Apache?

Yes... I have to order one for my Apache and one for the Jasjar. Look for these on Boxwave (Audiovox PPC-6700 is the same as Apache).
