My wife's 027 phone (work phone) just recieved a text message

"Am Greg. A solicitor & a personal attorney. I need your assistant in a business partnership worth US$28million. Contact me for more details on ****live.com"

(email removed...)

The email address wrong... so doubt they'll get many contacts. :)  Came from number 502 (a short code? or faked number?)

Don't reply or email, it's quite obvious a scam... though it would be nice to have some $$s right now :)

If you PM me your wifes phone number (and the date/time she got the message) I'll get someone to see where this message came from and see if this was a one off or a bigger problem.

Cheers,
Neal

Just to update you, we have contacted the international provider who sent us these messages to deal with this. Hopefully they will identify the source and stop these messages.

Just to close this off. The source of the SPAM has been found by a foreign SMS integrator who have in turn appologised for allowing this traffic through their network.
