Telecom NZ would like to advise that there will be planned work undertaken on the Telecom Broad Band HTTP Cache farm on Thursday the 20th of May.

The planned work has a window of 3 am to 6 am.

If the date of the work changes there will be an update sent out.

There should be little to no impact on international browsing as a bypass will be put in place prior to the work starting.

Details
=======
Planned Start Date:     20th May 2010 03:00
Planned Finish Date:    20th May 2010 06:00
Expected Impact:        Minimal to None due to Cache Bypass

If you have any specific questions about this work then please feel

free to post the questions on this mailing list/forum and as time allows they will be answered.

NB. Please note that the service is only in place for Telecom Broadband Customers and "International" in this case is based on the international routing tables, as such some domestic sites may appear to Telecom as international content.

Regards

Paul

Sounds good... You beat me to it - just got this in the NZNOG list.

Good luck.

This work has been completed and traffic levels are back to an expected level.

I will keep an eye on the forums for any posts of trouble over the next few hours.

Paul
