Hi, I'm onto my third replacement MF668 high speed USB Mobile Broadband Modem with Telecom. I am using a Macbook Pro with OS X Leopard and experiencing an issue in which the modem drops the connection and a pop up window says FIRM WEAR UPDATE. Since this happens while I'm using the modem away from the office and the firm wear update has disconnected the modem I can't proceed with the firm wear update. The second thing that happens is the speed of the modem then slows down to under dial up speed. This has happened on all three modems. Telecom Critical Response are telling me that no one else has reported this problem and that I'm the only one experiencing this. My Mac is up to date as is the Telecom software and there are no issues with my Telecom account. Has anyone heard about the MF668 firm wear update issue?
