Hi Guys,

I really really want an LG GC900 mobile phone that works on the XT network. All the ones sold in shops only work on Vodafone / 2 Degrees, but apparently some people have them working on XT.

Do you know if it is possible to buy one. I am also interested in 2nd hand ones.

Cheers,

Ian

Hi Ian

the GC900 appears to be a 900/2100 UTMS device, therefore you could only get Telecom XT is some of the main centres on the 2100 UTMS backfill, and there is no GSM network on telecom, the official frequency is 850 UTMS

The only option on this handset is vodafone as it does support the 900/2100 UTMS

Cheers Guys,

It is the GC900f that has the frequency supported by Telecom. The GC900 only works on Vodafone.

$700 seems a bit steep though!!

Is anyone selling one second hand or a retailer at a lower price??
