Bugger, just switched to XT and it can only fav a telecom landline. Too bad most people are with orcon/vodafone(ihug)/wxc, etc.

Perhaps among people you know, most I know are telecom still. It seems to work for wholesaled ones too, just not voip ones on the ISPs own gear.

I too know of very few people who have landlines with anyone other than Telecom. Not sure why you think most people have their landlines elsewhere, but I think you are very, very wrong.

A lot of my family have moved to Vodafone Homephone wireless plus mobile broadband. As this has been promoted quiet heavily recently I would have expected a reasonable uptake on this.

I know a couple of people who tried it and went back to a real landline because of call quality and missed calls on it. Same for woosh phone, few tried it, only a couple remain, and thats because a pstn install to their flat was going to cost too much.

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

The issue was with Echo on wireless phone. This should no longer be happening as of a number of months back.

Thanks John
