Anyone else not able to access their broadband this morning? Opened up the internet to find router asking for the login for broadband as authentication had failed, tried it a few times, still didn't work. Connected to their neighbours wireless (to test connectivity) and found theirs was down too. Rang telecom to lodge a fault but the hold message said some customers were affected and technicians were working on it and CSR's could not help with the issue at the current time.

Was wondering how wide spread it was? I'm in Oamaru, Otago.

There is currently a fault under investigation with our Authentication system.
Once i hear more I will update it here.

I have had several calls about this from my customers in the New Plymouth area.  Mine is working fine but i did notice my TUC (Traffic usage checker) is not getting any results from Xtras usage meter.

I noticed this as well. Going to the telecom home page and using My Telecom allows you to see your usage however.  It's only the Xtra based usage (that TUC uses) that seems to time out.
