Hiya,

Hubby has a Telecom R101. He ran the battery right down & charged it up using the charger at the airport on his way back. It was working before that.

It shows FTM top left & "no service" centre. Screen has gone blank on front screen, wrong date. Some of the contacts are there but the text messages & call logs have been wiped. When I set the phone up I think I loaded stuff up via "Join Me" so that might be the stuff that's left, if so then everything else has been wiped.

Any ideas on how to fix this gratefully welcomed.

Hi there,

It will have to be sent back for repair.
FTM refers to firmware transfer mode, it happens when the software of the phone gets corrupt which in term means the phone wont work to its full potential. Assuming the phone is not liquid or impact damaged this can be fixed free of charge under warranty.

Any ideas as to why this might occur? Could it be to do with the battery being run completely flat?
I would be interested to know.
