is this a good device? I did some research on the internet and it's getting mixed reviews. I would appreciate any comments about it :)

What functionality are you looking for?

Mainly to check my emails, syncronize my calendar, contacts and notes with my notebook.
No its not available on prepaid.
But why would you do that? You cant get mobile data on prepaid, so no checking emails....
I would assume you could sync it via bluetooth but im not sure what you would sync it with.
You would be better going for an Apache it syncs with Outlook. I prefer the form factor of the Apache. Its a fantastic device

jpwise: Altho from memory prepaid and data are a bit troublesome but it's been a while since I played on the prepay side of things.
