So Im Moving house and changing DSL providers and i get the message we can connect your phone sweet as but you are in the line for DSL and we dont know how long till you will be connected im in Motueka and cant find anything on the exchanges does anyone know what the waiting times are like I heard they put a new cabinet in but still cant get it is there a number i can call to find out my place in line ??

You can check TelecomWholesale to see if your area is served by a cabinet or when it is due to be. Looks like most of Motueka should be covered with cabinets by Dec 2011.

Basically call telecom/an ISP. If there's a waiting list, then you'll just have to wait.

If you're on an exchange that is ULL with other ISPs gear in it, you could call said ISPs and ask. If it's all just telecom wholesale gear, no ISP will be able to hook you up. You'll just have to go on the waiting list.
