I am a huge fan of Geekzone in general, and @Freitasm in particular. Clearly a lot of thought and insight into human nature has gone into this site. As a result, it is by far the best of its kind that I have ever experienced. I feel it is a privilege to be a member.
But no-one gets everything right. Now there seems to be a filter of some kind that blocks any post with less than several pointless words in the title. The idiot AI assumes that if you don't use a lot of unnecessary words, it must not be 'meaningful'.
I come from a journalism background where the ability to capture the essence of an article in a succinct two or three-word caption is prized. I have struggled with this previously on Geekzone and I readily admit that my headings do not always convey sufficient information and I am making an effort to do better. But I don't think this new filter is helping things. I just made a new post entitled 'Hong Kong' in the first instance. It is in the politics thread. Everyone who reads the politics thread will be well-aware of current happenings in that city. The meaning comes from context. It doesn't always have to be spelled out in dreary detail.
Okay, rant over. That filter just really annoys me.
