Hi all,

I have a dual stack IPv4 / IPv6 connection through xnet. I've just noticed that when browsing geekzone with firefox, geekzone is defaulting to an ipv4 connection instead of the expected ipv6 connection. Does anyone else see this behaviour or know why this would be happening? The issue seems to be confined to geekzone, other sites do connect via ipv6 by default, and, if I use internet explorer, geekzone is connected to via an ipv6 connection.

If I visit http://test-ipv6.com/ in firefox, I get the expected

"Congratulations! You appear to have both IPv4 and IPv6 Internet working. If a publisher publishes to IPv6, your browser will connect using IPv6. Your browser prefers IPv6 over IPv4 when given the choice (this is the expected outcome)."

Not really sure why firefox doesn't like geekzone via IPv6

If a website is dual stacked the browser will use the connection which comes back 1st (ie IPv4 as geekzone's IPv6 goes via a much slower tunnel)
