Looking for some of your comments, please. Throwing ideas around. 

 

What would you say we replace the current homepage (https://www.geekzone.co.nz/default.asp) and make the forums page (https://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp) our new home?

 

The idea is to make it more community focused. Feedback welcome.

Another blind dope here that has never used live…

Generally people read top to bottom, left to right (in English).

So I would flip the home page - my crappy before and after effort attached.



We should have news, then reviews then blogs on the right. Top to bottom.

We should have a toggle button to show live (not sure how this is done but as a preference) for the two main updating threads.

We should also cut the header down, with all screens except phones (dead horse) landscape means vertical pixels are more valuable than horizontal.
