The user Geekong is listed under my pending friend requests. Regardless of whether I accept or decline he remains there. When I click on his username, it takes me to the Geekzone homepage.

Help? It sounds a tad ocd but having him sitting there un-actioned is just a little bit annoying! :)

Yes, it's a small bug - the user has been banned so all friends requests get "frozen". I am supposed to change this sometime...

Greater scheme of things it's minor so don't worry :)

Hey Mauricio is the current bug with pending friend requests also affecting notifications? I sent a few friend requests but they didn't know it was there until I prompted them. I had the same issue when somenoe requested to be my friend. I didn't know they had until I clicked on the link directly.

What "notification"? As in they never received the email? Or they never looked at the menu bar?

If it's not receiving the email notification, well, some people retire email addresses and don't update here, so we can't do much. If it's the second then we can't do much - a lot of people never look at the menu bar.

When I get new mail I see a little envelope icon on the menu bar. When I get a new friend request I see nothing on the menu bar and nor do I receive an email, and my email address is up to date.

I assumed there would be some form of notification as the friend in question commented that for some reason he hadn't been notified, so I wondered if one was supposed to exist?

The menu bar shows "You have pending friends request" (or something like this, can't remember exact words now).
