When I copy and paste from the quick reply box to the full reply page I lose CR/LF characters. I often do this when I start writing a post then add links, I make them into hyper links.

I have to use firefox at work... maybe I just don't use quick reply if it can't be fixed.

Getting something similar in Safari.

Just can get a newline in the reply for some reason.

All my newlines are gone..

Are you blocking the editor, blocking scripts, or have it disabled in your profile?

Not blocking, but I am using Safari with javascript disabled.

This has not been a problem before so I think something changed.

On your suggestion I found the html editor was switched on in my profile. I've turned that off now and will see if it makes a difference.

I've changed something YESTERDAY. And yes if you block scripts then it will screw up things, unless you have it disabled in your profile, in which case we know what to do.

Might code around blocked scripts later, but it's not a priority.

By the way... The introduced change fixed the OP's problem.
