im trying to post a blog and it wont let me select a catagory- any help would be much appreciated

You have to create your own categories first. Then you can create the blog entries...

I'm still having trouble with creating a blog!

I can't see where to create a catagory

maybe because I'm on IE6???

Nothing to do with a browser. Just visit your Profile Options page and if you scroll down you will see the blog configuration, category, lists and more.
